One Egata should be held in each hand.

The pattern on each egata changes depending on the element that possesses it.

Opening cut scene PART 1:

Itasha standing in house: Something isn’t right

Scene change to sunny meadow with a lot of flowers.

Itasha and Oaki runs though the meadow, her pure white hair-clip glints in the sun (past the camera), (it looks like a small Egata.)

Scene change to a mystic pool with a waterfall in the middle of a forest.

Itasha suddenly sits down staring deep into the pool (Oaki rests on her shoulder.)

The camera circles distantly around showing the stunning scenery and her pure white hair-clip glints again as the camera passes her but then suddenly stops opposite Itasha as a load terrifying noise is heard and as it happens the camera zooms towards her face showing her terrified expression.

The screen blanks for two seconds.

The screen flashes back on in the same timing as thunder sounds to reveal Itasha and Oaki walking drearily back to the entrance of the house though a thunderstorm.

Hyaku is standing waiting for her by the front door inside the house and says as he passes her a towel: What was it, are you o.k.?

Itasha says taking the towel: Oh, nothing I must have just made a mistake.

Itasha starts drying her long shadow black and as she flicks it back her hair-clip glints black and Oaki’s eyes glint black at the same time.

End

Chapter 1 – Making new friends

You are free to explore the village and meet everyone a few people say things like “you and your sister are so brave, I admire you two for doing so well after everything that’s happened to you” and “I know you’ve never had a real mother and father but I have always felt that you were my children”. If you go back to the house after talking to all the main people in the village you find that your sister isn’t there and you notice a note on the table as you read it you experience flashbacks of your childhood (your sister’s voice reads the letter). As you put the letter down you can see tears hit it but then you wipe your eyes on the sleeve. At this point the wise old man – the guardian of the temple (who you would have met when you explored the town) enters. “I know that your sister has left. She hasn’t been herself lately has she? I believe the Goddess of darkness seeks revenge, please meet me at the temple I will explain everything there, but only if you willing to go on the ultimate quest, there is a high chance you wont survive.

When you arrive there he explains the past.

Opening cut scene PART 2 (background):

At the beginning of time there was a great land ruled by many goddesses each one could control an element and they used them to keep the land peaceful. For many years the land stayed a peaceful haven, but there are always two sides to every story. The queen – the goddesses of light had a shameful secret. She had a twin sister, the goddesses of darkness. But early on in her life they had a great duel and the goddess of light thought she had destroyed her sister because she wasn’t seen for many years until one terrible day.

The day began like any other until midday, the time the sun was over was over the sacred tower. A black beam of pure evil shot out of the tower’s tallest spire, she must have got hold of the sacred sceptre, the source of all power. The beam struck the sun, it slowly blackened and so did the land and then it stared hurdling towards the land. There was nothing anybody could do to stop her so the goddess of light used all her energy to seal the goddesses’ spirits in sacred Egatas and sent them to another world to be guarded in sacred temples.

“The world in the story is this one Hyaku, and I am the sacred guardian of the Goddess of Plasmas Egatas, I swore to never let anyone touch them, unless I believe that he is the Goddesses sacred protector reborn for there is a part of the story only the sacred guardians know. There was also a mighty warrior who devoted his life to protecting the great land against all the creatures that had been cursed by the Goddess of darkness’s evil touch, he had great spiritual power and was the master of weapons, I believe you are him reborn.

Anime cut scene:

When you were young and new to the village you climbed the biggest tree in the village, you know the one in the centre of the village were the ceremony is held, anyway you were trying to prove to your sister that you could make it to the top, you crawled along one of the top most branches and shouted “look at me Ita…ahhhhhh.” The branched had snapped because it couldn,t take your weight. Just before you hit the ground a bright beam of light in the shape of an Egata shot from your forehead and softly lowered you the rest of the way but you had passed out at that point because using your power had drained your energy and made you and Itasha forget the whole incident, do you remember now? That was the sacred force you are blessed with it use it wisely and only for the purpose of good, I trust you will.”
